The Tetons from the Snake River

This plein air oil painting was done looking back at the Tetons from a rocky shoal in the middle of the Snake River. I rafted to this spot in a small, inflatable pontoon raft belonging to my painting buddy Bill Smith. We both set up our easels and knocked out a painting before continuing on our rafting adventure about 12 more miles downriver. A long, but beautiful day!
