| Passeggiata is a cultural custom in the evening where couples, friends and families stroll through their city or town. It's a social time. In Lucca, the first Tuscan walled- fortress town I visited, people were walking and biking along the wide road on the fortress wall on a Saturday evening. This promenade is on the top of the wall about 30ft. up! | |||||||||||||
