| I began this as an (on-site) plein air painting, working beside fellow artist Paul Bertholet. We were on our way to an artist's weekend workshop at Millboro Springs, VA, when we stopped along this creek outside of Brownsburg, VA to paint. It was a pleasantly warm June afternoon with the sun occasionally peeking through overcast skies. Due to our schedule, I had to paint-in the cattle after I got back to the studio. This is a nice slice of western Virginia countryside. | |||||||||
